Reduce intake of red meat, animal fats and dairy products.

Reduce intake of foods high in sugar and other simple carbohydrates.
Increase intake of fruits and vegetables.

Continuous exercise to help increase HDL (High Density Lipoprotein), thus lowering total cholesterol.
